Britney Spears Working On New Album With Marina And The Diamonds?
The internet had a mini explosion today when rumors arose that Britney Spears was working with the up-and-coming artist Marina and the Diamonds.
Before I go any further, do you know who Marina and the Diamonds is?
First of Marina and the Diamonds is one person, but that one person does have a band. Second, Marina is a singer from the UK whose musical style ranges from ballads to more up-tempo, New Wave songs.

Anyways, the rumors were ignited by the following tweet posted by Marina:
Could such a big celebrity like Britney actually be doing a collaboration with such newcomer?
Unfortunately, as it turns out the tweet was just a joke.
Producers associated with Marina tweeted to clarify the situation:
Obviously Britney’s a little preoccupied right now with her personal life, namely her current wedding engagement.

I LOVE Britney, I think she is an AMAZING performer! And besides that, There is not one of her albums I don’t like. My favorite though of all time is Blackout. I think Blackout is her most sexy and different album from the rest of her work she’s done previously (Before Circus, & Femme Fatale) But as to the question of who would I like to see her collaborate with? That would be…. 3Oh!3. Because 3Oh!3 is an AMAZING group. And I think they would do an awesome song together. It’s simple. 3Oh!3 makes sexy songs, Britney MAKES songs sexy. Good match.
I love Britney Spears SO MUCH!!!!! She is so amazing that, personally, I prefer her ALONE. But if she must collaborate, 3Oh!3, Adam Lambert, Hilary Duff, Gwen Stefani, Miley Cyrus, Evanescence are all great and different ideas. Maybe even have Ke$ha and Britney sing, write, and compose a song TOGETHER. <3 Britney STAY AWAY from GAGA, she doesn't deserve your genius! Love you Britney <3
