Beyonce suffered a miscarriage before she conceived their daughter Blue Ivy, reveals husband Jay-Z.

The rapper unveiled the sad news in his new song “Glory” which he posted on his website in honor of his daughter’s birth.

In the song produced by Pharrell, Jay-Z raps, “Last time the miscarriage was so tragic/We was afraid you’d disappear/But nah baby you magic.”

The song even includes audio samplings of the new-born baby crying after she was born.

But, the song isn’t all sad. Jay also shares how proud he is with lyrics like, “The most amazing feeling I feel, words can’t describe what I’m feeling for real / Baby, I paint the sky blue, my greatest creation was you.”
