The Kardashians Deny Sweatshop Involvement

The Kardashians have denied reports that clothing sold by the reality TV family are made in sweatshops.

Allegations surfaced that items from the K-Dash by Kardashian label and the Kris Jenner Kollection, both sold on QVC as well as ShoeDazzle, a company Kim Kardashian endorses, were manufactured in Chinese sweatshops by workers subjected “to inhumane conditions.”

The Institute for Global Labor and Human Rights launched the investigation into these companies.

A spokeswoman for the Kardashians said there is “no truth to these allegations.”

“They take this situation very seriously and have been assured by all of their manufacturers that the factories are policed regularly,” Jill Fritzo, rep for the Kardashians’ said.

How seriously?

According to TMZ, the Kardashians are planning to file a lawsuit.
