Alec Baldwin Thrown Off Plane For Playing ‘Words With Friends’

Alec Baldwin was kicked off an American Airlines flight today when he refused to turn off his cell phone.

Why wouldn’t the ‘30 Rock‘ star shut off his phone, you ask?

Apparently, Baldwin was in the middle of a game of Words With Friends… wow.

The actor took to his Twitter to express his outrage:

Baldwin continued to lash out at the Airline by tweeting, “United Airlines should buy Words With Friends” and “Last flight w American. Where retired Catholic school gym teachers from the 1950s find jobs as flight attendants.”

Ironically, once the incident took place, other passengers on the plane took to their own social media sites on their mobile devices to report on what just happened.

Here’s the thing, yes the ‘no electronic devices during take off’ rule is annoying, but come on Baldwin really?

You’re going to make a whole plane of people wait until you finish your game?

Just because your Alec Baldwin doesn’t mean the planes not going to malfunction because of your phone, do you smoke at gas stations too?

Get over yourself Baldwin.
