Wired Exclusive: Death & Taxes CD Release Party

Last night, Allie is Wired stopped by the World Famous Whiskey a Go Go for the Death & Taxes Inevitable CD Release Party. The star-studded rock bash included performances from Disengaged, Rebelmann, Maxxxwell Carlisle and, of course, Death & Taxes.

Death & Taxes took the stage around 11:00pm and instantly had fans on their feet. They opened with “Trust” which featured stellar vocals from front man Jay Link and face melting guitar riffs.

The band describes themselves as “Something New, Something Old, Something Classic Rock fans can definitely sink their teeth into” and that’s exactly what they are. Fans traveled from all over the country to celebrate the brand’s new CD release. We even spotted fans from Virginia and Washington D.C.!

We were treated to a handful of songs from the new Inevitable album and the highlight of my night was catching drummer Izzy Diaz’s drum stick:

The album, which has been nearly half a decade in the making, includes the songs “Trust,” “Gone,” “Serenity” and the fan-favorite “I Can’t Save You.” Get Inevitable here.
