Michael Lohan has been released from jail, following a court appearance on domestic violence charges involving Kate Major. Lohan was arrested Tuesday and spent a night behind bars.

The judge set Lohan’s bond at $5,000 and ordered him held until at least 6 p.m. “If you even dream about her and you violate my order, you will go to jail,” the judge said to Lohan, who appeared via video dressed in a red jail uniform.

“I did not lay a hand on her. I did not hurt her,” a visibly upset Lohan squealed to the press.

“We had an argument about a girl who’s a really bad influence on Kate, and I took the phone out of Kate’s hand and threw it down,” Lohan claimed. “I said I’d had it and that I was leaving, and she panicked. She was worried she’d get stuck with all the bills, so she called the police.”

He accused Major of creating drama to sell her story for a quick tabloid paycheck.

He got her an apartment and they were living together?

As I followed this latest development, I remembered seeing these two fighting on Twitter back in September. It started off with Michael Lohan sharing a photo of his “baby.”

Lohan wrote in a tweet with the photo below, “Me and my baby ….Links by the outdoor firepit……loving it.”

It ended with Kate Major telling Michael to leave her family and friends alone — and to stop avoiding court.
