Blake Lively and Leonardo DiCaprio have broken up, after a mere five months of dating.

Representatives for the couple have confirmed it to Us Weekly that they have split, but will “remain friends”. The canned response.

Did the reported infidelities cause the break-up?

Lively’s relationship to DiCaprio created quite a buzz particularly because he only called it quits with girlfriend of five years, Bar Refaeli, weeks before.

Despite refusing to confirm their relationship in the five months they were dating, Leonardo, 35, and Blake, 24, were spotted on a string of dates throughout the summer including trips on a yacht in Disneyland, California, and a water taxi in Venice, Italy.
