Today on ‘The View’ Barbara Walters said the N-word not once, but twice!

In a discussion about a situation between presidential candidates, Herman Caine and Rick Perry, the N-word was brought up by co-host Whoopi Goldberg who decided to use the full version of the word.

Then, in a moment so awkward (I even cringed), Barbara Walters repeated it in context twice!

Fellow host Sherri Shepherd became immediately upset.

“I didn’t like the way you said it,” exclaimed Shepherd. “I don’t know if it’s a semantics thing… but something just goes through my body. When you say it, it’s a different connotation.”

While trying to explain herself, Shepherd replied, “I could never explain the way I feel.”

Barbara just would not let up and neither would Shepherd.

The ladies went on to say the N-word several more times and things just kept getting more and more awkward.

Come on ladies please, please, please just stop saying it I can’t take the awkwardness any longer!
