Wired Exclusive: Extreme Makeover Home Edition Premiere Event

Tonight Allie is Wired helped celebrate the 9th season premiere of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition in downtown Los Angeles. The event, supporting the American Cancer Society and presented by Hollywood Branded, brought out Hollywood elite and a handful of amazing sponsors to honor the cast, crew and staff who make the show possible.

We were treated to gourmet food trucks, cocktails by Coconut Water, pampering stations, an outdoor garden, HP photo-booth and so much more. We even spotted a few celebs like Fresh Prince alumnus Tatyana Ali and Real Housewife of Orange County, Gretchen Rossi:

Event guests were also treated to the the two-hour season premiere of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition featuring First Lady Michelle Obama and Rihanna. The venue was filled with images from the season premiere episode, including this moving wall poster of the deserving family:

This season of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition focuses on children. “Whether it’s bringing to light the challenges of dwarfism faced by youngsters, the bond between a father and his paralyzed son, or the heroic eight-year-old who saved her younger sister from an oncoming truck — but incurred life-threatening injuries of her own — this season celebrates the power of children to transform their own lives and those of their communities.” Make sure to tune in- Sundays 8/7c on ABC.
