Reese Witherspoon was hit by a car Wednesday morning around 11 AM.

The ‘Legally Blonde’ actress was struck by the vehicle while jogging across the street.

Law enforcement has revealed that Reese’s injuries were very minor and not life-threatening at all.

The driver who hit the star was an 84-year-old woman and while Witherspoon was crossing the street the driver failed to stop.

The driver was ticketed for failing to yield to a pedestrian and was then released.

A rep for the actress reveals that she has been released from the Santa Monica hospital and is now resting at her home.

I know it’s inappropriate to laugh, but come on!

The thought of poor little Reese Witherspoon flying into the air does kind of makes me chuckle.
