Ellen DeGeneres Suffers Chest Pains – Calls 911

Paramedics arrived on scene at the Warner Bros lot Monday morning in response to a 911 call placed by a member of Ellen DeGeneres‘ staff.

The 53 year old talk show host was in a production meeting when she complained of chest pains. Her assistant immediately called for paramedics.

The Burbank Fire Department promptly responded and DeGeneres was not taken to hospital. She was seen a little later walking around on her own.

Ellen took to twitter to thank everyone for their concern and to reassure fans et al that she was doing just fine. “Thank you all for your concern. I wasn’t feeling great so I called the paramedics, but I’m fine. The mouth to mouth was totally unnecessary.”

Whew! That’s a relief!
