Tom Hanks is pulling pranks.

Hanks had everyone on the set of ‘Larry Crowne‘ pretend they had caught Julia Roberts‘ knitting bug, supplying them with needles and skeins of yarn.

He then called on everyone to gather the next morning before Roberts showed up for work and take a quick lesson in knitting.

Grips, lighting men, extras and runners would all look like they knew what they were doing when his leading lady arrived.

The prank worked, with Roberts squealing.

Hanks and Roberts last appeared together in 2007 film “Charlie Wilson’s War” and now Julia Roberts has teamed up with Tom Hanks again in his directorial venture “Larry Crowne”, and she is all praise for his multi-tasking abilities.
