MTV Video Music Awards – 2011 Nominations (Full List)

MTV presented a live 2011 MTV Video Music Awards nominations announcement special, unveiling the roster of artists who will be vying for an award at the August 28th show.

Katy Perry won a leading nine nominations, compared to eccentric superstar Lady Gaga, who had just three nods.

Kanye West was the top male nominee, with seven nods for his futuristic “E.T” collaboration with Perry as well as his own music videos for “All of the Lights” and “Power”.
