Kanye West has been the subject of his own controversy many times throughout his career, but there is fellow celebrity who has got his back.

Is it Diddy? Jay Z? Lil Wayne?

No… its Justin Bieber.

In an interview with XXL Justin expressed his adoration for the Grammy Award winning artist.

“I got to be in the studio with him and work with him and see how he works and talk to him—and talk to him as a friend, and not like someone [in] business,” says Bieber. “He’s not really an asshole like everyone makes him out to be. I mean, he can, he can do bad things, but he’s really generally a good guy.”

But what about that time Kanye stormed the stage and interupted Taylor Swift? Or what about the time Kanye called out President Bush during a benefit concert for Hurricane Katrina? Or that time… you get it.

But Justin still stuck by West’s side saying, “He can make bad decisions, you know, as well as everyone can, but generally I think he is a good guy.”

Justin, it’s not that people make Kanye West out to be an a**hole, he makes himself out to be an a**hole.
