Charlie Sheen’s New Show: Anger Management

Charlie Sheen is set to star in a new TV show based on the Adam Sandler/Jack Nicholson movie, “Anger Management.”

Charlie will be playing the role of Nicholson’s character.

Sources have revealed that the person behind the show is producer Joe Roth, the producer and screenplay owner of the 2003 movie.

Although the show will be based on the movie, Charlie’s character is said to somewhat stray from the original role.

Apparently, Charlie’s character will be an ex-jock who received his master’s degree in social work. He became a counselor to defendants in the criminal justice system with anger management problems. And not unlike the movie (and real life) his character will also have his own anger issues.

The deal with Lionsgate has yet to be finalized, but it is nearing the last stages of negotiations.

For the sake of Charlie’s career (coke addiction), he better hope the deal goes through.
