Amy Winehouse’s Album Tops Itunes Charts

Amy Winehouse’s critically acclaimed 2007 album Back to Black shot to the top of the iTunes chart Saturday, following the news of her death.

Along with her album, her music videos for singles ‘Back To Black’, ’You Know I’m No Good’ and ‘Rehab’ reached the Top 10 on iTunes on Saturday.

Both titles have held steadily throughout the weekend.

‘Back to Black’ earned the troubled artist six Grammy nominations at the 2008 Grammys.

Winehouse won best new artist, her single ‘Rehab’ won song and record of the year and best pop vocal performance. ‘Back to Black’ was named best pop vocal album as well.

It is said that Winehouse had actually finished the next album before her death, the release date had just been moved due to her stint in rehab.

Will they release the lost artist’s album?

I hope so, I will be one of the first to buy it.
