Pop stars often take on different personas in their music videos, but Katy Perry has taken it one step further, unveiling a dorky new alter ego “Kathy Beth Terry.”

Why you gotta make fun of people, Katy?

Perry has even gone as far as to create a Facebook and Twitter page for the character.

Katy Perry isn’t the first celebrity to adopt an alter ego. Beyonce taunted fans for months, before admitting she was also known as Sasha Fierce.

Mariah Carey played both the parts, by producing a video with her alter ego, Bianca Diva, and going all KILL BILL on her.
