Cheryl Cole Officially Out Of ‘X-Factor’

U.K. singer Cheryl Cole was supposed to be one of the judges on X-Factor USA, but because of issues between her and the other judges she was given the boot.

The producers didn’t wanna pay her for nothing, so they tried to hammer out an agreement that worked mutually for all parties. But it’s a no-go.

We originally reported that former Pussycat Dolls singer Nicole Scherzinger was promoted from show host to judge, but Scherzinger has been sitting in limbo while producers tried working out a solution.

But now it’s official. Scherzinger is in, Cole is out.

A statement from FOX issued earlier today confirms;

“Nicole Scherzinger will be replacing Cheryl Cole on the judging panel of The X Factor. Nicole will join Simon Cowell, L.A. Reid and Paula Abdul on their search across America to find the next global superstar or group to win the life-changing $5 million dollar recording deal. Nicole has previously joined Simon Cowell as a guest judge on The X Factor for the UK version of the show in 2010. Steve Jones will act as sole host of The X Factor.”

Who would you guys have rather seen as a judge on the upcoming X-Factor USA? Or does no one care either way?
