Scotty McCreery And Lauren Alaina – Hot New Couple? (Video)
Last night’s American Idol winner is making headlines today, but not just for his win over fellow contestant Lauren Alaina.
When his name was announced there was some kissy-face action going on between new Idol Scotty McCreery and his runner up. Are they dating?
After the finale’s broadcast finished, I thought for sure there must be something going on there. Today, the internet is all abuzz from an interview with Entertainment Tonight that Lauren gave where she stated that Scotty “might be my boyfriend, he might not be my boyfriend”.
WHAT?
McCreery of course denied the suggestion, stating rather that he and Lauren were merely very close friends, and that he is still single.
Yeah, right.
That might be true for right now, but I don’t think the situation will remain as such for very long. The two will be part of a customary American Idol tour where they will spend even more time in close contact with one another.
Thinks could change quickly. I’m starting my official ‘couple watch’ now.

They are absolutely a couple imo! Liplocked and “I love you Baby” “Together forever”….and why not.Idol probably just wants it quiet so allthe tweens will buy more posters and music.

Yeah, i really do think they are a couple because of the LITTLE THANGS that were said btw the two and the reaction from them both. I’m very proud of Scotty and even more for Lauren because she prove there is NO I in Team!!!
I think they are a couple, but think about why scotty won; there are hundreds o tween and teen chicas out there who are holding out false hope and love for him. If he was suddenly taken….well, i’m just saying, somebody told them to keep it on the down-low.

i think they are a couple because of how close they are the kiss and that he said i love you baby to her after winning, i think they want to keep it on the dl and they are so sweet together!!!!
If they are not a couple, they should be!! They are so cute together, dating or not they should do a duet together!!

they have to be a couple right? when your “really good friends”you dont kiss on the lips, say i love you baby, and talk about the future. they are perfect for each other.
They are most defiantly together! Maybe its not “official” or maybe they want to keep it private. But they kissed on the lips he said “I love you baby” and that they would be “together forever”! They are adorable and even though I’m sad I don’t get my swing at him for a while ;) I still think they should date and probably already are!
They are totally dating, but so many of us girls think we actually have a shot with him. If they were to announce that they were dating his sales would go down. :( my prediction is after the tour, if they’re still together they’ll announce it.
I think they should and let america know teen sales may drop but evryone loves a love story and they will soar together as did Tim and Faith God brought these two together and I hope 4 ever.
