It’s a joyous time in the life of the Palin clan. The former Alaskan Governor has been hearing wedding bells – Her 22 year old son, Track, married his long-time girlfriend and high-school sweetheart Britta Hanson, 21.

Track and Britta were married in a small ceremony in Hatcher Pass, Alaska.

In a joint statement to People Magazine, the Palin’s and the Hanson’s said; “Our families couldn’t be happier! These are two hard working, humble, active, studious young adults who grew up together. We’re tickled that after two decades of friendship we proudly witnessed their marriage, knowing their new life together will be blessed.”

The happy newlyweds will have a larger wedding ceremony this winter at Alyeska Ski Resort, in Alaska when friends and family from the rest of the country are able to share in the celebration.
