Lindsay Lohan Hires New Publicist To Clean Up Her Image
Lindsay Lohan may have gotten off easy in the courts this week regarding her jewelry theft charges, but that doesn’t mean that she’ll go back to being a bankable star.
Her image took a huge tumble over the past few years, with the star’s erratic behavior and her stints in and out of rehab and court.
Is there anyway to make both the public, and producers see her in a different light or is her career permanently on the skids?
Linds had hired on Steve Honig of The Honig Company as her new publicist, to try to clean up her toileted image. The Honig Company also represents Fiore Films – The production company on her new Gotti film.
In a statement to RadarOnline, the star talks about what’s going on with her at present;
“I am glad to be able to put this past me and move on with my life and my career. I support the judge’s decision and hold myself accountable for being in this situation. I have already started my community service at the Downtown Women’s Center and thank everyone there for their warm welcome.”
“I hope to be able to fulfill my obligation without any press attention. I think the media spotlight should be on issues such as homelessness and domestic violence instead of on me.”
Seems like Lohan has grown up quite a bit recently, and I complete agree with her statement on where the media’s attention should focus. Unfortunately, there’s no sensationalism in covering homelessness and domestic violence… sad but true.
And to Lindsay I say… Good for you kiddo. Nice to see you getting yourself back on track. Hope it all works out for you.
