‘Jersey Shore’ Season 4 Production Delayed
It was reported earlier that the cast of Jersey Shore were stuck unable to begin filming in Italy.
Originally it was stated that the 4th season experienced delays because their permits were pulled. But is this really the case?
According to RadarOnline;
Their bags were packed and they were ready to go, but the cast of Jersey Shore’s trip to Italy has been put off while problems with filming permits are worked out, RadarOnline.com has learned.
Although the producers have already rented a fabulous townhouse in Florence, Mayor Matteo Renzi is cracking down on where shooting could take place.
As RadarOnline.com has previously reported, the show has been barred from filming the cast drinking — what, no drinking!
Now permits for shooting at some of the city’s most fabled landmarks including the Uffizi gallery and Palazzo Vecchio have been yanked.
I’m confused here…
TMZ had an altogether different reason for why production has halted on the popular MTV show’s forth season;
Sources connected with the production tell us they’ve delayed the start of shooting season 4 because the President of Italy is coming to Florence.
Our sources say there’s so much security and hoopla over the President’s visit Thursday, it would be too much of a hassle to shoot around it. So they’re waiting till the Prez leaves, but shooting will begin late this week.
Sources say stories circulating that production was shut down because the show couldn’t get city permits are bogus. Everyone is ready to roll, as soon as Mr. President says arrivederci.
Who to believe, who to believe…
Personally, for as much as I dislike the Jersey Shore and would LIKE to believe Radar‘s version of the story… I’m pretty certain that TMZ got the real scoop here.
