First Look: ABC’s ‘Charlie’s Angels’ (Video)

ABC just announced this morning that they will be picking up Charlie’s Angels, a big, loud, fun take on the 1970′s smash hit series.

“This show is pure candy,” Paul Lee, the new president of ABC Entertainment, said during a morning conference call with reporters.

Allie is Wired has an exclusive first look at the new drama, starring Minka Kelly, Rachael Taylor and Annie Ilonzeh, which will kick off ABC’s Thursday night of drama that includes “Grey’s Anatomy” and “Private Practice.”

Leonard Goldberg (the original Charlie’s Angels) and Drew Barrymore (the Charlie’s Angels movies) join forces with Alfred Gough and Miles Millar (Smallville) to deliver the adrenaline rush of the season.

With the help of Bosley 2.0 (Ramon Rodriguez), their hot, young technical expert, and the guidance of their enigmatic boss Charlie (Robert Wagner), these angels are an unstoppable crime fighting force.
