Disney to Capitalize On Bin Laden’s Death

That’s right, you read correctly!

It’s now being reported, the Walt Disney Company has filed to obtain a trademark on the name “SEAL Team 6” which so happens to be the name of the special forces team that is said to have brought down Osama Bin Laden.

The trademark would entitle Disney use the “SEAL Team 6” name on toys, clothing, entertainment and education services and more. 

What will these new products be? Action figures perhaps or maybe a new Disney Channel show?

Maybe the toys will be something along the lines of G.I. Joe or a more realistic Power Rangers crew. But, with that being said doesn’t every action figure hero have its arch enemy?

Will we be seeing an Osama Bin Laden action figure? Likely not, but it will be interesting to see how Disney will market this new investment… if the trademark is granted.
