Today Amber Portwood received the harsh verdict she deserves when she lost custody of her baby girl, Leah.

Gary Shirley was ruled the sole custodian of the couple’s child, but not because he’s a superior parent.

Instead, custody was taken from Portwood due to the unsafe environment in which she is living (her home and car were recently vandalized).

Child Protective Services believed that Portwood’s home was an unsuitable living situation for a baby, a fact that Portwood reportedly agreed with. The ruling is reportedly only in effect until further notice.

The ‘Teen Mom’ star will have visitation rights.
