Scarlett Johansson isn’t pregnant, insists her rep, despite photographic evidence which indicates the otherwise.

The Hollywood rumor mill started churning about the star after some unflattering photos surfaced of a weekend jog she took with boyfriend Sean Penn and their friend Owen Wilson.

The three-some were photographed mid-jog not far from Penn’s home in Malibu on Sunday. Johansson wore black leggings and a fitted gray tank, which protruded around the tummy – hence the speculation about a baby bump.

But according to the 26-year-old actresses’ rep, that is definitely not the case.

“Scarlett is not pregnant,” the rep told UsMagazine.com.

So what about that unsightly bulge?

“She’s outside running and it’s simply the placement of her shirt that is misleading,” the rep explained, insisting that the star is “in the best shape of her life” after spending the last 4 months training for The Avengers.

Right. Misleading shirt placement. That’s a good one.
