Well, my speculation that Samantha Morton would play the onscreen wife to Robert Pattinson is obviously wrong.

David Cronenberg has cast 23 year old Toronto based actress Sarah Gadon in the role.

Cronenberg just finished filming A Dangerous Method with Gadon and Keira Knightly, and feels that she is a perfect fit next to Pattinson.

Originally, Keira Knightly had been wanted for the role, but when that fell through the director felt that the only one who could fill that void was Gadon.

I think it is a good choice, and the cast is awesome. Can’t wait to see it on the big screen.

Cosmopolis will begin filming in Toronto soon, and will hit theaters sometime next year.
