Lindsay Lohan Releases Statement On Father
Lindsay Lohan is sick and tired of her father Michael yapping to the press about her constantly. After he joined the new season of “Celebrity Rehab”, it was said that she felt he would embarrass the family. (Like he could tarnish the Lohan name any further?!??)
Still, she doesn’t want him talking about her any more! Period, the end — FINAL.

In a new statement, she said, “I am sorry that my father has continually chosen to speak publicly about our relationship, my mother, my siblings, and my professional team. I am working through my recovery day-by-day and find his public media bouts unnecessary and damaging.”
Michael has said to the media that he had no plans to continue talking about Lindsay, but he does just the opposite. It’s sad, really. He says that he wants to keep their family together, yet he acts like a fool right afterward.
Michael has told the media his main priority is keeping Lindsay sober and bringing the family back together – yet Lindsay feels his behavior is having the opposite effect.
And this is not the first time the 24-year-old has had issues with her father. While in rehab it became apparent that, “Lindsay blames a lot of her problems and issues on her dad,” a source close to the Mean Girls star told RadarOnline.com.
“His name came up constantly,” the source said. “Lindsay has a lot of unresolved feelings and anger towards Michael.”
Lindsay was told to come to grips with what role, if any, her dad Michael would play in her life once she returned home the source says.
I can’t say that I blame Lindsay for wanting her father to STFU and sit down. He blabs about everything to the press. And while we’re on the topic of blabbing to the media, her mother needs to shut it, too.
