Clint Eastwood To Direct Beyoncé In ‘A Star Is Born’ Remake

… And in the people who shouldn’t act category, the trophy goes to Beyoncé Knowles! Yeah, she’s a ‘talented’ singer, but does that mean she can act? Not so much.

The Hollywood machine has been gearing up to do yet another remake of the classic film(s) A Star is Born. Ugh!

Beyoncé will star as Esther, a young woman who comes to Hollywood with dreams of stardom, but achieves them only with the help of an alcoholic leading man whose best days are behind him.

No word yet on who will star opposite the songtress as her drunken bedfellow, but I think Gary Busey or Nick Nolte would be a perfect fit…

Clint Eastwood will direct and produce the script by Will Fetters. We can expect this disaster sometime in 2012.

Are you kidding me? Give the job to Jennifer Hudson, who can actually SING and act. Which is why she won an Oscar, remember? Geez Louise. Beyonce should stick to hawking lipstick and leave the acting to those who come to it naturally.
