68th Annual Golden Globe Award Winners

This evening’s Golden Globe Awards surprised a lot of viewers. Films and actors that were believed to be shoo-ins didn’t go home with the prize.

The honor of Best Motion Picture-Drama went to the crew from The Social Network, when many believed that Black Swan would take it. That was just one surprise…

Best Actor-Comedy or Musical went to Paul Giamatti for his turn in Barney’s Version, leaving everyone including Giamatti himself stunned that Johnny Depp didn’t take the prize for either of his noms for Alice in Wonderland or The Tourist.

In the television categories, fan favorite Glee dominated, taking 3 awards; Best Supporting Actor (Chris Colfer), Best Supporting Actress (Jane Lynch) and Best Television Series – Comedy or Musical.

The Social Network led the pack in movies with the most wins at a count of 4 including Best Motion Picture Drama, Best Director, Best Screenplay and Best Score.

Check out our complete list of winners under the cut, and let me know if you agree or disagree with the Hollywood Foreign Press‘s pickings for winners this year.
