2011 Razzie Awards Shortlist Revealed

January is the start of awards season. Tonight we have the People’s Choice Awards, and more will soon follow.

However, not all awards are honoring the best that HollyWeird has to offer. Here come the 2011 Razzie awards!

Since 1980 the Razzies have been chronicling the worst that cinema has to offer, and this year is no exception.

This year’s short list for worst film are:

‘Little Fockers,’ ‘Sex and the City 2,’ ‘The Expendables,’ ‘Grown Ups,’ ‘Clash of the Titans,’ ‘Killers,’ ‘The Bounty Hunter,’ ‘Yogi Bear,’ ‘Jonah Hex,’ ‘The Last Airbender,’ ‘Vampires Suck’ and ‘The Twilight Saga: Eclipse’.

I noticed that one movie in particular was not nominated for worst film… Burlesque!

However, the film did not come out unscathed. Burlesque leads the pack with a total 6 short list noms so far. With more likely to come. Cher, Christina Aguilera, Cam Gigandet and Kristen Bell are all on Razzies sh!t list.

New to the Razzies this year is the awesome category of Worst Eye-Gouging Misuse of 3-D. This category was totally made for me! (God I hate 3D!)

Likely nominees in this category are; Piranha 3-D, Resident Evil: Afterlife and The Nutcracker in 3-D.
