One of the most disturbing and interesting movies in history is about to get a part 2.

Oscar award winning Director Danny Boyle recently told Cinematical that a sequel to the 1996 hit film Trainspotting is inevitable.

The Irvine Welsh novel originally published in 1993, depicts life in Edinburgh through the eyes of character Mark Renton – A heroin addict.

Despite its gruesome visuals, the film adaptation was a huge success pulling in $72million in worldwide sales.

Welsh penned the sequel titled Porno in 2002. The story re-visits the characters of the previous story and takes place 10 years later. The original characters all cross paths again, but this time around the pornography industry is the backdrop for the story, not heroin.
