‘The Muppets’ New Movie Loaded with Star Cameos

Jim Henson‘s classic Muppets will once again take their adventures to the big screen.

Disney Pictures is producing and celebrities are signing up like crazy to make appearances in the film simply titled The Muppets.

Amy Adams and Jason Segel (How I Met Your Mother) star along side all your favorite childhood characters like Kermit, Miss Piggy, Gonzo, Animal, Fozzie and all the rest.

Jack Black, Billy Crystal, Zack Galifianakis, Jean Claude Van Damme, and Alan Arkin, are already on board and more seem to be recruited almost daily.

The story centers on Segel’s character who tries to help Kermit and the lovable critters save their theater from closing.

Filming is currently underway, and the studio hopes to have a Christmas 2011 release.
