Lily Allen just can’t seem to catch a break. First, she dated Chemical Brothers singer Ed Simons in 2008 and suffered a miscarriage shortly thereafter, which basically ended their relationship.

This year, she happily announced her pregnancy with boyfriend Sam Cooper by showing off the front page of “The Sun” newspaper with the announcement. Sadly, today we’ve learned that Lily has lost her second baby. She was six months pregnant upon learning that the baby she was carrying was no longer alive.

Her rep issued a statement, asking for the couple’s privacy. The spokesman said, “It is with great sadness that we have to confirm that Lily Allen and Sam Cooper have lost their baby. The couple ask that their privacy be respected and that they be left alone at this deeply distressing time. No further comment will be made.”

This is so sad. Our most sincerest condolences go out to Lily and Sam in this awful time.
