Search engine giant Google is planning a foray into the world of fashion! The company is making it easier for fashion mavens to find fashionable items easier.

Interesting concept, but can they deliver?

Wednesday is the big day for the company, as they venture into the world of high fashion. They plan on launching virtual designer boutiques, where people will be able to create and share their own personalized shops. They will be allowed to select style preferences, looks, brands and items they love.

Reportedly, Google is set to tape Sarah Jessica Parker and Katie Holmes to open up their personalized shops. They are also including Oscar de la Renta, Tory Burch, Cynthia Rowley, Marchesa, Isaac Mizrahi, Tracy Reese and Erin Fetherston to all set up virtual stores on the new site.

The site is called Boutiques.com. We’ll keep you updated upon its launch. Will you be shopping there? I guess that remains to be seen!
