Back in August, we reported that Fantasia Barrino had attempted suicide, but we didn’t know the extent of what she was facing at the time. Now, we do.

Apparently there was more to that sex tape with married boyfriend Antwuan Cook than was let on. She was actually pregnant with his baby.

During Antwuan’s divorce proceedings, she was asked if she knew that he was still living with his wife, Paula, during their affair. She said that she thought that they’d separated at the time and they’d dated “off and on for about eleven months”.

Paula’s lawyers pressed Fantasia over a hotel rendezvous which they believe took place just a few days after they met each other. A inside source said, “Paula’s lawyer is arguing that they got the room because she knew he was still married.”

Their affair became public when Fantasia was seen with his last name tattoo’d on her collarbone. In August, it all got too much for the singer and she attempted to kill herself. She said, “It just became heavy for me, so I just wanted to be away from the noise.”

Paula, the scorned wife, is now considering taking legal action over the Alienation of Affection, which is recognized in their home state of North Carolina.

Fantasia admitted to becoming pregnant by Antwuan, but having an abortion around the same time as her suicide attempt.
