The nations capital will be the setting for some scenes from Transformers 3. The production is set to start shooting on location starting next week.

If you’re a commuter in the D.C. area, you’ll likely be annoyed at the street closures and parking limitations caused by the filming.

Local fans of the franchise will be ecstatic when Bumblebee and the rest of the Autobots roll out in their town.

In July, the production was on location in Chicago, filming along Michigan Ave. Here is a video from that shoot.
