Tim Gunn Slams Lady Gaga’s Fashion
Lady Gaga made a career for herself out of dressing in some ultra-crazy outlandish outfits, as well as singing. But, it’s her public persona that people are attracted to, like moths to a flame.
But there’s one person who’s not buying into the hype…and that’s Tim Gunn. Gaga has frequently referred to her strange outfits as “fashion”, but Tim’s got news for her: He doesn’t approve.
The “Project Runway” host knows a lot about fashion, but he’s not seeing it in her choice of wardrobe. Instead, he sees stage outfits.
In a recent interview, he said, “Who would want to emulate that? It’s not fashion. Those are costumes.”

Fashion, like ANY art, is completely subjective. To me, Gaga is a fashion icon. To others, she’s a walking lunatic. What makes her sane and artistic to me is the fact that I relate to her. So F*** YOU TIM GUNN. :)
Tim Gunn, like many other people, don’t understand the art of Lady Gaga. Her fashion fits her unique style of entertaning. Tim Gunn is a 100 year old who knows and understands little about Gaga, so he has no business slamming Lady Gaga’s strange fashon sense!
I am really surprised he said it *like that*. He is usually really eloquent and colorful with his word choices and is very politically correct. I’m also surprised he doesn’t appreciate what she’s doing for up-in-coming designers– she’s like a living mannequin for them. I like that she’s making an impact, pushing boundaries, and making us re-think what we think is beautiful. Boo Tim Gunn. Boo you.
The only time you can wear what she wears is on Halloween, and right now lots of people are gonna say GaGa on trick-or-treat night. The proof is in the pooding

I love both tim and gaga but I strongly think tim has inhaled a little to much hairspray fumes
