Ryan Kwanten: True Blood to Charlie Manson
Unless you are a fan of HBO‘s True Blood then I don’t expect you to know who Ryan Kwanten is. However, if you do watch the show, you’ll know him as Sookie‘s lovably goofy older brother Jason Stackhouse.
…and oh my goodness, those shirtless scenes of his! Yum-my!
In what can only be described as a total reversal of character, Kwanten was just cast as psycho-scary serial killer Charles Manson in the film The Family.
Among one of the most notorious villains in history, Manson and his ‘family’ are most famous for the murders of actress Sharon Tate – who was 8 1/2 months pregnant at the time – and four others in her home in Los Angeles in 1969.
The film is to be directed by Brad Anderson who directed Christian Bale in The Machinist. Bale immersed himself into the role so much so, that he ended up severely under weight and emaciated.
If history is to repeat itself, then that means that sexy-boy-Kwanten will have to totally immerse himself into the Manson role, and having seen The Machinist, I’d have to say that is a frightening prospect.
Having not seen anything else that Kwanten has worked on, I can’t say that it would be a stretch to imagine him playing Charles Manson in the film, but in my mind, it truly is.
If he does manage to pull it off, one thing is for sure… neither Hollywood nor True Blood fans will be able to just shake it off. Cuz Charlie Manson is one creepy dude.

Being an Aussie I have seen him in a quite a few roles, he was really a child actor here. Can he pull it off? He certainly has the acting experience, not sure if he can be evil enough though.
Well as far as articles go I’m not really a great reader of them but this Renna person reals you in makes you feel like your right there with her, to bad had to be about a butt head like Manson but the other articles I must say were the same reeled me in and before I knew it I was articulating with the best of them so all I can say is,
