Many rumors surround the currently untitled new Batman project. Some of the recent speculation include both Edward Norton and Joseph Gordon-Levitt being cast as The Riddler.

The latest gossip in the Hollywood rumor mill is that Inception star Tom Hardy will join the cast in an unspecified lead role.

Not much is known yet about the Caped Crusader’s next adventure other than who is directing and which actors are to reprise their previous roles.

Christian Bale will of course return as Batman, with Michael Caine, Gary Oldman, and Morgan Freeman all joining him in the next installment of the re-vamped Dark Knight franchise.

Chris Nolan (Inception) will be directing.

Everyone involved with the production is keeping tight-lipped about the plot, and which villain(s) our hero will be facing off against.
