Katy Perry and Russell Brand are now husband and wife, after getting hitched in an elaborate ceremony in India on Saturday.

Even though Russell had faced questioning over an altercation between his bodyguards and some photographers on the grounds of their wedding location, the twosome jetted off to the Maldives for their honeymoon.

Still, no photos of their wedding ceremony have been made available. I wonder what they’re waiting for? Perhaps a magazine spread???

What I also want to know is why they chose India to get married? I’ve heard the area surrounding where they got married is a total dump.

Either way, we hope they’re happy and last a long time. Do you think they’re going to have babies now that they’re officially husband and wife?
