‘I Love You Phillip Morris’ (Trailer)

I Love You Phillip Morris has gone through a whole lot since premiering at the Sundance Film Festival in 2009.

The controversial trailer has just been released, and as expected it’s both raunchy and funny!

While it has already generated over $18 million in revenue internationally, the picture has yet to see a release in the United States due to various legal issues and a recut ordered by the distributors to excise some of the more graphic scenes.

Warning: NSFW due to foul language, the sex scene we’ve already seen, and the tragic bottle-blondness of Ewan’s hair.

The film, starring Jim Carrey and Ewan McGregor, is based on Steve McVicker’s I Love You Phillip Morris: A True Story of Life, Love, and Prison Breaks, the true story of con artist and prison escapee Steven Jay Russell.

It is set to (finally) open in U.S. theaters on December 3rd.
