Toronto International Film Festival – First 5 Days
It is now day 6 of the T.I.F.F. and I gotta say, walking around the streets of downtown Toronto has never been crazier.
The streets are littered with shutterbugs, both professional and amateur, hoping to get a shot of their favorite celebrity.
This year’s festival has proven to be a great one for celeb stalkers, many big names are in town again this year.

Quite a few of Hollywood’s heavy weight actors are in town: Robert DeNiro, Robert Redford, Clint Eastwood, Natalie Portman, Nicole Kidman, Mickey Rourke, Colin Firth, Martin Sheen, Matt Damon, and Ben Affleck to just name a few.
I’d have to say my favorite celebrity at this year’s festival has to be Martin Sheen. Friday afternoon outside the Fairmont Royal York Hotel, there were protesters on a 24 hour strike to support a new labor agreement. Sheen cheerfully wore a sign and joined in the protest. What a cool dude!
There are 4 Gala premieres scheduled for this evening: Mavericks:Bruce Springsteen, The Debt, Henry’s Crime, and The Promise: The Making of Darkness on the Edge of Town.
The T.I.F.F. wraps up Sunday the 19th. Stay tuned for more coverage!
