Lily Allen confirmed to Britain’s The Sun on Wednesday that she is, indeed, pregnant!

The proud papa is Allen’s year-long boyfriend, 32-year-old Sam Cooper. “It goes without saying that we are both absolutely delighted,” Allen told the Sun.

Allen has recently been vocal about her desire to become a mom and start a family with Cooper, dropping hints in the press that her own mom had become pregnant with her when she was just 23 — two year’s younger than Allen is now. Tragically, that’s also the same age Allen was when she had a miscarriage, while she was romantically involved with Ed Simons (Chemical Brothers).

Allen denied her pregnancy earlier this summer when rumors swirled, but celebrated the good news with her friends and family this past weekend, after getting her three month scan. Earlier this year, Allen announced that she was putting her singing career on hold while she pursued other interests.

Looks like that won’t be happening.
