Katy Perry has generously paid $200,000 to send her fiance, Russell Brand to space! Via Virgin Galactic, Katy has booked her husband-to-be on the most expensive trip he’ll ever take, all for his birthday.

Well I guess that’s one way to get rid of him! Just kidding, I think. On a serious note, I really think she would do well to go with him. They could get hitched in space and have little space babies. How cool would that be?

The Daily Mail reports:

Virgin Galactic representative Louella Faria said: ‘It is true. We are very excited to have him onboard.

‘There will be 17-inch diameter windows to look out onto. Passengers will be able to view Earth around 800 miles in any direction from space.’

Asked how Brand and his fellow astronauts will celebrate the completion of their mission into space, Ms Faria told E! News: ‘They will pop champagne, give you astronaut wings and give you a party.’

Pretty nifty digs for a comedian/actor, but she should really take the idea and run with it. She should totally go to space, for like, forever.
