Tomorrow is the first day of the Sunset Strip Music Festival. The 3 day event includes a Slash Salute at the House of Blues, a night of music at legendary venues in Los Angeles, and an outdoor street festival including performances from Smashing Pumpkins, Slash, Myles Kennedy, Fergie, Neon Trees, Common, Kid Cudi, Travie McCoy and more. A definite must for all music lovers! You can still purchase tickets at ticketmaster.

When: August 28, 1010 1:00pm-10:00pm

Starting Thursday, August 26, Royal/T welcomes “Sushi Pop Art,” a new limited-engagement pop up dinner series featuring creations by artistic sushi luminary Chef Kenny Yamada, known for his appearance on FOX’s “Hell’s Kitchen” and credited with the opening of Katsuya Restaurant in Encino. Available every Wednesday and Thursday through September 9, Angelenos can enjoy Yamada’s intricate sushi menu inspired by Royal/T’s contemporary Japanese art collection. Make reservations here.

Up for a spontaneous concert tonight? If you’re free, tickets are still available for Norah Jones and Corinne Bailey Rae at the Greek Theatre. These two women have such incredible voices and I would die to see them both together. Please go for me- should be amazing! You can buy tickets at ticketmaster or at the Greek Theatre Box Office.
