We always knew to expect strange things from the offspring of two of rock’s most controversial musicians, and Frances Bean Cobain’s burgeoning art career has not disappointed.

The 17-year-old offspring of Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love just put up her first gallery show Scumfuck at L.A.’s La Luz De Jesus Gallery.

Aside from the choice words used as the title of her exhibit, there’s notable things like the one piece with the caption, “Treat me like your mother or I’ll eat the sun.” Creepy!

The fact that the artwork isn’t more disturbing is surprising to me. This girl should be a MAJOR train wreck and the fact that she’s seeminly just another angsty teenager is incredible. Go Francis Bean!

The only reason anyone is saying her work is disturbing or creepy is because of who her parents are. If this was anyone else, they would shrug it off.
