Robert Pattinson – On Drugs???
The National Enquirer posted on their site yesterday, that Robert Pattinson confessed to borrowing and taking the drug Valium before auditioning for the part of Edward Cullen in Twilight.
The dirty, sexy, sparklepants actor was quoted as having said:
“I knew it was going to be a long audition because I was doing a screen test for it, and it was at the director’s house.”
“Twenty minutes before … I just suddenly started panicking.”
So as his relief from panic, apparently he admitted to having taken the Valium. And then went on to say…
“Probably one of the best decisions I’ve ever made, I remember thinking ‘I want to get a prescription for these.’”
I am fairly certain that Robert is not stupid enough to do drugs. At least not in any sort of habitual way. However the Enquirer’s piece seems to imply that they believe otherwise.
I think those dudes at NE need to step lightly here… Can we say ‘lawsuit’??

A silly confession, but in his situation I would take the valium too
He admitted a long time ago he took one half of a valium before the audition. Then the story resurfaced after Nightline. Now this story is exaggerated and sensationalized to sell more copies of the NE.
exaggerated! I heard one half too. Leave the poor guy alone!
Taking one Valium does not make you a druggie. Come on people stop the stupid rumors and just report the facts. I think the media causes more trouble than they are worth. The media just loves to take one little thing and blow it up so big that it is like taking a flea and blowing it up to be as big as a space ship. Let’s get real people and stop all the bull@*@*!? okay.
To clear up any misconceptions; the point of my article here was not to suggest that Mr. Pattinson does drugs. But rather to expose the National Enquirer as implying that he DOES.
This is idiotic. Even if it’s true, anxiety is what Valium is FOR. If he said he took it before he banged two hookers, maybe this would be a news story.
