I think you’ve completely misinterpreted his comment. He means he wants to take someone out on a date….such as his girlfriend Kstew but they can’t because they’ll be hounded by the press. He’s sick of having to hide out all the time.

Does anyone stop and think that both R/K says these things just to keep people guessing? Plus in his interviews he seems to make statements just to joke about or to shock fans and media. I am sure he could get any date he wanted but he doesn’t seem the type to sleep w/ every woman he would date

Yeah, you’ve totally got it wrong. I agree with KD, I’m sure Rob would love to take his girlfriend out on a date but cannot due to intrusive press.

Or just maybe he would like to be able to go out on a date with his girlfriend. And I think you are WAY off on his comment about marriage also. He was saying that is sounds boring to say you are settling when talking about marriage, but that he agreed that it does mean giving up playing the field. Really, it’s not that hard to decypher what he says, so I’m not sure why you have such trouble with it.

I agree with KD, he is speaking about not being able to openly date anyone! It is not like he and Kristen can go out to dinner and a movie! I think it is mean to assume he wants to dump her, I guess negative press get’s the most attention!

You are an airhead. He and Kristen or any female he is seeing can go out, they are stuck up in a hotel room or house because if they go outside.. the media is all over them. I have no idea why people won’t leave these two alone.
As for his comment on settle, you took that out of text too. I believe he meant “settling would mean doing something you really don’t want to do but you have to settle for what you get”.

idk if they are dating and keeping it secret, it seems to be one of the more effective hollywood methods to keeping a couple together. fake tabloid reports and stuff seem to have a knack for breaking up really great pairs before a problem even really exists. just my opinion. if they are dating, that’s great, they seem really good for each other

It seemed obvious to me that he was talking about the paps following him around with cameras. He would like a peaceful date – maybe with Kristen. Did anyone else notice when Kristen was asked about dating him in I think the collider interview over the weekend she used the same phrase he did “I’m just sayin” Code?

Did you happen to watch even a tiny snipit of the Twilight convention? You can’t hear a word of what they are saying nor do you need to to see how much they just adore each other. Their favorite movies, the way they have a conversation without saying anything? Any time, any interview that they are together, ESPECIALLY RP has a hard time hiding how he feels, his face is an ear to ear grin around her. Kristen is a bit more reserved but it’s 100% there as well and they DO NOT deny their together anymore. He just wants to go on a date, that is all he said.

Access Hollywood just referred to them as “real life couple”… so is that it? Did they admit to it?… interesting.

I’m starting to think that they just messed around here and there and this whole dating thing is something for publicity .

I think they would be cute together, but sometimes thing that Kisten say’s like how she say’s she has more fun on the set with taylor than she does with rob. I honestly do think it’s for show and to keep everyone interested, but they are the only one’s who really know reguardless, so we’ll just have to keep guessing.

I think that the press is just going to ruin everything if rob takes a girl out and I bet he doesn’t sleep w/ every girl he brings home. But if kristen and rob have a thing then well that’s just wow. It would make the movies that much better.
