If you didn’t tune in to see Jessica Simpson gallivant across the globe for her show, “The Price Of Beauty”, then you weren’t alone. Only one million viewers tuned into the VH1 reality show when it made its March debut. But now it’s getting revamped for a second season.

Yes, you read that correctly, Jessica Simpson’s show got renewed. According to sources, Jessica is stepping away from globe-trotting and making fun of other cultures in favor of a makeover show.

A snitch said, “VH1 is in talks with Jessica for a series on beauty and image.”

While a VH1 spokesperson said, “We are here to stay with Jessica and are committed to this journey and this message with her about women, self image, etc… all through Jessica’s totally unique and unfiltered lens. We are really excited about the next step, which we will announce soon and will air on VH1 in 2011.”

She gave people makeovers in the season finale of the show’s first season. So, instead of paying all of the expenses for her and two friends to make fun of Buddhism, they’re letting her plop her butt at a salon. Good call, VH1.
